An audience of almost 100 shooting enthusiasts crammed into the Castell Malgwyn Hotel, Llechryd, Cardigan at the end of February to listen to BASC Director of Firearms, Bill Harriman present an update on the current firearms legislation situation.
Bill later donned his Antiques Road-show hat and gave his specialist and often humorous opinion on a variety of firearms that had been brought along to the evening.
Sporting Gun contributor, David Baker displayed some fine antique shotguns and gun restorer, Graham Perry showed his skills with an excellent collection of fine English shotguns.
Sam Perry, receive and view inspector at the Birmingham Proof House explained to the audience the importance of proof and gave a brief history of the institution. We were also pleased to welcome members of Dyfed Powys Police firearms department who answered many queries regarding firearm certification.
