So, that's the end of the 2007 TVCTL season.

A poorly attended end of League Shoot, prior to the meal was slightly disappointing. However the food and company was excellent.
The Trophies and Keep Cups, were presented, and due thanks was given to Verona Design, for providing all of the 2007 cups.
In 2007 the TVCTL saw 133 competitors, a considerable increase than in the recent past. The Target presentation, was excellent. Perhaps I will explain, to any newcomers that the CPSA, which is the set of rules which the TVCTL subscribe to, insist on all Traps being hidden from the shooter, when in the cage. A small point, but does make the League more representative, and allows anyone, shooting elsewhere to be accustomed to this layout.
The TVCTL committee meet soon, and will discuss items for 2008, make sure you approach your rep., If you have any proposals for the AGM, usually held in January.
What are you going to do in the future? Of course I'm, referring to shooting. For those people who are Happy with scoring 50%, read no further.
Thank-you, it is clear that if you turn-out every fortnight to break clays, year in, year out, the buzz you get from the current level you have attained, will increase more if you increase your averages.
The one sure thing about our sport is (unless you are 15years old) you will need to do something different to your routine, mind set or knowledge of the sport, to improve.
Can I suggest that you try to shoot at least once a week. Find another club that shoot on alternate week-ends. It is not disloyal to you current club, we have to deal with the 28day rule.
Get a group up and have an away day. Get some coaching.
Do any thing to move yourself forward
I hope you will read this as it is intended, to improve everyone in the Clay Shooting Sport, to improve the Competitive element in the TVCTL, and encourage others to take-up the sport.
It is certain that if you do not strive to move forward, you will surely fall back.
Winter Well.
